Attendance Recovery Information

Attendance Recovery is required to recover the number of unexcused absences you have over the State-allowed limit. Each time you complete make-up attendance your unexcused absence will be replaced to REC-Recovered and you can maintain good standing.

If you do not make up for too many unexcused absences, you will "Fail due to Attendance" and not earn credit. Summer school will be needed or you will have to retake the class.

WHO: ANY student that has more than 5 Unexcused (UNEX, UEPN) in a semester-long class. ANY student that has more than 2 Unexcused (UNEX, UEPN) in any quarter-long class (govt/econ). ANY student that has more than 10 Unexcused (UNEX, UEPN) in any year-long class. You are responsible for monitoring your daily attendance.

HOW: Complete the required amount of IN-PERSON attendance recovery which is held at MBHS. No registration or fee is required. You must provide your own transportation. The expectation is that you bring your laptop or reading material and complete all assignments you missed. Sleeping, disrupting, or failing to complete work during attendance recovery will result in student removal and the failure to earn recovery time.

Students have the opportunity to make up attendance Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, afterschool, in the media center. 3:30-4:30

Saturday School - Dec. 7,  8 am - 12 noon.
