Final Exam Schedule for 1st Semester
- Dec 2024
It's hard to believe State End of Course Exams are on the horizon! Please review the following information and plan for your student to be present on State End of Course Exam dates.
Reminders for state testing:
-Students may not have a cell phone, earbuds (both wired or Bluetooth), or a smart watch in the testing location. Students will need to power down devices and put them in their bookbags. All bags will be stored in a separate location that will be secure. If your student has any of these devices during testing, they will receive a 0 for the End of Course exam, which counts as 20% of their final grade.
-Students must test on school issued devices, so please make sure that their device is charged and ready to go on the morning of testing.
-Light breakfast snacks will be provided but please have your student get plenty of rest the night before and have a good breakfast to sustain testing.
-Teachers will share their testing location with them prior to testing. Students will need to arrive by 8:20 which is our tardy bell.

Friday, Oct. 25th was really special at The Beach. We welcomed back the Class of 1989, who placed a time capsule in the brick wall of our new building in 1988 when it opened. Principal Altman and Athletic Director Cahill welcomed our guests and shared what life at Myrtle Beach High School is like in 2024. We examined items from the time capsule, told stories, and enjoyed old friendships.
