About Us
Myrtle Beach High School, where excellence is never compromised, is a grades 9 through 12 program that empowers students to learn, lead, and succeed. We are a diverse and dynamic school, with around 1500 students, that offers a variety of programs designed to meet the demands of the 21st century. Over 75% of our graduating seniors attend either a two or four year college and over 60% are offered scholarships. We incorporate technology in our teaching strategies, as well as in our student responses, and rely on school and student data to drive our instruction.
Myrtle Beach High School is helping all students develop the world class skills and life and career characteristics of the profile of the South Carolina Graduate by providing access to 21st century skills and competencies through a rigorous curriculum in a safe and caring learning environment. We continually challenge our students through a progressive, blended learning format that integrates research-based instructional practices from highly qualified teachers, digital content that provides essential formative data on each individual student, and instructional delivery models that promote greater personalization of learning
