Classroom Schedule

Changes will be announced in advance.
Monday – Weekly assessment and class work
Tuesday – Class work
Wednesday – Physical training
Thursday – Uniform /Drill Day
Friday – Class work
All students will be given a weekly vocabulary assignment to assist in preparing them for upcoming state-wide exams.

 
NS1 Grading Criteria

 - 35% Uniform (Uniforms must be worn one school day per week) -.Each cadet is inspected in their uniform and assigned a numerical grade.
 - 25% Physical Fitness - As JROTC is a substitute for the Physical Education requirement, cadets are expected to dress out and participate to the best of their ability in a regimented physical training class. 
 - 20% Military Bearing - This includes a students performance while in the classroom and throughout the school and includes things like aptitude, appearance, demeanor and class preparation.  Each student begins the day with a 100 and deductions are taken as necessary.

% Academics.

There is a final exam in all classes.
Final grade is determined in the following manner: 

40% 1st Quarter
40% 2nd Quarter
20% Final Exam

NS2/3/4 Grading Policies follow approximately the same percentages.
