The National Beta Club is a student-centered organization for sophomores that continually develops and nurtures individuals by providing opportunities and experiences to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and leadership in a global community.

  • September sale of Myrtle Beach Seahawk lanyards to help our school newspaper
  • October - Heart Walk – Market Commons.
  • November – Food Basket Collection for families in need.
  • December - Collection of gifts for children suffering from Aids in Horry and Georgetown County.
  • January - Service Project for MBHS / CPR Certification
  • February - Nursing Home Visit and dinner following at Cheeseburger in Paradise.
  • March -  Beta Club will host a “Teacher Appreciation” breakfast
  • April - TBA
  • May - Ceremony
All members must attend the meetings, keep their grades in good standing, and have a good behavior record.  Remember, we are representing Myrtle Beach High School from the minute that we walk in the building in the morning!  Work hard, be prepared, and be proud to be a Myrtle Beach High School Beta Club Member.
