Fast Track is an opportunity for students to have teacher guided instruction after school. The courses are offered 2 weeks prior to the SAT or ACT test. TCA online test preparation will assist students by giving them test-taking tips and by reviewing material in critical reading, math, and writing. Students will be encouraged to set a score goal based on college choice and scoring guidelines. Additionally, students will become familiar with testing strategies and instructions for each section of the test. See any SAT coach for more information.

Dates are posted on the SAT/ACT board at center stairwell. Classes will meet in Mrs. Alexander’s room, A202.

TCA Prep is an online program that students may access from home if they choose not to attend a Fast Track session.  It provides the students with testing strategies, lessons on specific objectives, and quizzes to monitor progress for the SAT and ACT.  This tool is a wonderful interactive website that is guaranteed to increase student scores if they spend 20 hours in the software.  Students should spend as much time as possible in the website.  They can even take a practice SAT or ACT and have it scored!  This website is easy to use to improve students in all subjects.  Students have been given their passwords and logins, but if assistance is needed, please contact one of the SAT/ ACT coaches if you need more information.

College Board website can prepare students for the SAT and also assist with college planning.  This site has information on how to study for the SAT, will help find a college and view their entrance requirements, will guide financial planning for college among many strategies needed after high school.  Students are encouraged to use it during the planning process.  For further information, please contact an SAT/ACT Coach.

While students prepare for the EOC or HSAP, USA Test Prep an excellent resource.
