The Myrtle Beach High math department consists of ten committed and hard-working teachers.  Our common goal for the 2009-2010 school year is to develop common course diagnostic and summative assessments to enhance student achievement by 15% as measured through end-of-course grades.  A few strategies to meet this goal will include analyzing classroom data (including all test data) at the end of each semester and conducting an item analysis to be shared within our department.  We are all available for tutorial outside of the regular school day (please see web pages for schedules) and look forward to working with each of our students to increase achievement.  Go Seahawks!
