| Academics is at the heart of Myrtle Beach High, as we intend to reach each student through offering a vital, varied curriculum that meets each individual student need. We are committed to providing a learning environment that is welcoming, inviting, minds-on, and student-centered. After graduating from Myrtle Beach High, whether a student enters a four-year college or a technical college, chooses the military lifestyle, enters the workforce, or serves an internship within an organization, the graduate has the skills and tools needed to be successful. In addition to our strong core academic courses, we offer a wide selection of Advanced Placement courses as well as numerous electives within our majors which include fine arts, business, technology, foreign language, physical education, accounting, journalism, drafting, NJROTC, and building construction. Myrtle Beach High staff members take responsibility for the success of all students and continually strive to build strong, positive relationships with students as they become fully prepared to be successful contributors to our rapidly changing global society. |
